“Buying less, wearing longer”
Levi’s has remained a classic for over a century and a half because of its quality and timeless style. The new collection is no different, with a renewed interest in making clothes that are both durable and multipurpose. One example is the women’s trucker jacket (Ashley introduced her Levi's trucker jacket in the video), which provides a silhouette that is both adaptable and sustainable in regards to short-circuiting fast fashion.
All items of the Fall&Winter 2020 collection, from the trucker jacket to the 502 jeans, are made from 20% recycled denim, 20% sustainable viscose and 60% organic cotton. Every detail has been designed to satisfy the circularity standards. Even decorative elements, such as the back patch, red tongue and pockets, are made from natural fibres so they can be easier to recycle when jeans and other garments can no longer be worn.
In this video, Ashley will introduce you some Levi’s jeans and jackets that she wears a lot. And most importantly, the jeans and jackets are sustainable and affordable. Check out the video for some insights!
